The legacy of Sheikh Zayed

The Zayed Centre for Research is named in recognition of the extraordinary philanthropic support of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak in honour of her late husband, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

His Highness Sheikh Zayed was the founding father of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi 1966-2004.

Sheikh Zayed had great vision, determination and a strong belief in the merits of hard work in creating a better world. He devoted his life to the service of others, both at home and abroad and personally oversaw the assistance of healthcare to people in need across the world.
