Guidance for content creators fundraising for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity
Who we are
We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity). We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Together with supporters and fundraisers like you, we fund groundbreaking research, cutting-edge medical equipment and the building and refurbishment of child-centered facilities to help save more young lives, and essential support services that help save childhoods too.
Together, we help Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) go above and beyond for seriously ill children. We enable kinder and better treatments, bringing hope for children with the rarest and most complex illnesses and making hospital a little bit easier and a lot more fun for the thousands of children who are treated here every year.
Fundraising for GOSH Charity
Gaming, streaming and content creation can be a brilliant way to raise money to help support the seriously ill children and young people who are treated at GOSH. In fundraising for us, you support our mission to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer.
To ensure an enjoyable and safe experience while fundraising for GOSH Charity, we ask that you follow these guidelines to keep you, your viewers and our community safe online.
Why have we made these guidelines?
Keeping you, our supporters, your community, and the patients and families connected to GOSH safe is important to us. As a children’s charity, protecting and safeguarding children is at the heart of what we do. Our guidelines exist to keep you and our community safe when broadcasting. This means we ask that you agree to the following guidelines before starting your fundraising.
Our guidelines
Only participate if you are 18 years old or over
You must be 18 years old or over to register for any GOSH Charity online activity.
Uphold our values
At GOSH Charity, we strive to treat everyone with fairness, respect, tact and dignity. This includes GOSH patients and their families, our supporters, volunteers and anybody else involved in fundraising for the charity. We expect anyone involved in fundraising for GOSH Charity, or anyone representing the GOSH Charity brand, to uphold these values too, and to agree not to bring GOSH Charity’s reputation into disrepute. This means that you are committing to not using or promoting language or content that is discriminatory or harmful in any way.
Keep safe online
