The 2024 Skyline London to Brighton Cycle

Thank you for your interest in becoming a cheer squad volunteer for the Skyline London to Brighton Cycle on Sunday 15 September.

Our team of 250 cyclists will be taking on one of our biggest cycling events in our portfolio. They will take a 55 mile cycle from the iconic city of London to the sunny Brighton seafront all to raise money for seriously ill children at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

What’s involved?

Your role is simple: make as much noise as possible and have fun!

We need your help to cheer on and support our cyclists as much as possible from the sidelines of the race route to help drive them to the finish line.

How much time to offer and location

A full volunteer shift is 8am till 1pm on the 15 September 2024 in Merstham, near Redhill, RH1 3LH. The exact what3words location is still to be confirmed.

We’d really appreciate it for you to do the full shift, but we'd still be grateful for any time you’d be able to commit to, please let us know when you apply!

What we're looking for

  • Individuals aged 18 and over interested in volunteering for GOSH Charity
  • Ability to represent GOSH Charity and our values positivity
  • Commitment to be loud, energetic and blue!

What we offer in return

  • Reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses in line with GOSH Charity guidelines
  • Training and support from our Challenge Events team to help provide you with information and answer questions leading up to the event
  • Provide you with everything you need to cheer our cyclists on - clappers, banners and a branded GOSH t-shirt
  • A reference after volunteering, should you want one
