Schools Fundraising

Schools GOSH banner

Every day brings new challenges at GOSH.

Every day, around 750 seriously ill children and young people from across the UK are seen at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs.

And every day is a chance for you to make a difference. This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support to give seriously ill children the best chance to fulfil their potential. Your school could help make that happen.

We’ve put together a guide on talking about GOSH to students to help you bring GOSH into your school, as well as some fundraising guidelines for teachers.

Register for School Charity of the Year 2024

The children you teach can help the children we treat. Register your school's interest in fundraising for GOSH Charity for the next school year now.

The money you raise will help us to support our patients and their families. Whether that's providing family accommodation which ensures parents can stay close to their child during a difficult time, funding pioneering research and specialised equipment that lead to kinder treatments for children, or helping us to build cutting-edge facilities to offer world-leading treatment - your support is transforming the lives of the patients and families at GOSH.

Milton Keynes Preparatory School

'Fundraising helps to foster a sense of community with students and staff.'

Milton Keynes Preparatory School was inspired to organise a mini marathon due to a pupil spending many of her early years at GOSH. Students and staff came together to complete 3 laps of the playing field, encouraging and cheering each other with Bernard the Mascot joining in with high fives. The children and staff alike enjoyed the fun challenge, one which brought the whole school community together.

'We all worked together to make the event a success and raise as much money as possible.'
