What is RBC Race for the Kids at School?

RBC Race for the Kids at School is our annual school charity fun run, taking place across the UK.

Get the whole class - or even the whole school - moving with a 2k or 5k adventure. Zoom through your local park, turn the school field into a track, or explore scenic country roads. Wherever you are, you will help build the new Children's Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

Choose a date between Monday 6 October and Friday 10 October 2025 to host your RBC Race for the Kids at School charity fundraising event.

Who should take part in this school charity fundraiser?

All ages and abilities can join in the charity fun. Simply register your school for free, choose the location and set up your fundraising page.

Gather a team of teachers, pupils and parents and come together to fundraise to help beat childhood cancer.

How your support will help children with cancer

This year, we hope to raise over £1 million through RBC Race for the Kids to help build the new Children's Cancer Centre at GOSH.

GOSH already cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers, and new treatments are giving hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH's current cancer facilities.

We need a new home for breakthrough treatments and pioneering research, so we can save more children's lives. And because cancer shouldn't get to steal anyone's childhood, we need a place that's more than a hospital – a place that's a school, a playground, a garden, and so much more.

That's why we're building a world-leading, child focused Children's Cancer Centre, where more children can have the best chance and the best childhood possible.

Together, we can build it. Together, we can help beat childhood cancer.

All funds raised will go towards the development of cancer care at Great Ormond Street Hospital. In the event that costs change, or the needs of the hospital or patients change, we reserve the right to redirect funds for use against the hospital’s most urgent needs.
