How playing the Spring raffle helps support GOSH
By playing, you can help build a new, world-leading Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), and help beat cancer for children like Aashna.
Aashna was only six years old when she was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL), a rare type of blood cancer, and transferred to GOSH for treatment.
After a month of intensive chemotherapy, Aashna became very unwell. She couldn’t stand on her own and had developed pancreatitis and a bad fungal infection in her mouth, which meant she had to be fed through a catheter in her vein.
Thankfully, after another month of treatment, a test confirmed that Aashna’s cancer cells had been killed, and she is now completing maintenance chemotherapy.
It’s support like yours that means we can help more children like Aashna beat cancer.
