Lily's story

Lily was just eight years old when she arrived at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) for specialist care. She was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia and faced complicated and urgent treatments during her time at GOSH.

Lily's mum, Sam says: “I don’t feel I’d have been in anywhere near as good a state as I am, if we’d been staying in another hospital. GOSH is just a really special place, it’s totally set up to deal with such serious conditions like the one Lily had.”

Watch the video below to see Lily reach a huge milestone and celebrate the end of her cancer treatment. A monthly gift from you today could help change the lives of more children like Lily - now and into the future.
