Donate today and help us give seriously ill children the best chance and the best childhood possible
Childhood makes us who we are. It shouldn’t be spent in hospital. But when it has to be, Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity is here to help make it the best it can be.
That means funding support services like the Play team and GOSH Arts, who help to make hospital a little bit easier and a lot more fun. It means funding home-from-home accommodation to keep loved ones close. And it means funding groundbreaking medical research and cutting-edge equipment to enable kinder and better treatments for children.
None of this is possible without the generosity of supporters like you.
Meet Aditi
For nine-year-old Aditi (pictured above), childhood is dance-offs to her favourite tunes, colouring in and storytelling, and spending time with her older brother, Adithya.
But at just five years old, she was diagnosed with an extremely rare condition affecting her kidneys, making time spent at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) a big part of her childhood so far.
Aditi underwent a bone marrow transplant, and, in 2023, received the UK’s first ever kidney transplant without the need for lifelong immunosuppressants.
“Aditi is always dancing and singing,” says her dad, Uday. “We’re so happy that she can be the amazing version of herself that she is, thanks to her dual transplant at GOSH.”
