Why stream for GOSH Charity?

Every year in the UK, around 1,900 children are diagnosed with cancer.*

Cancer doesn’t care about childhood. It doesn’t care what seriously ill children miss out on, or how much you want to protect them. But we do.

That’s why we’re building a new, world-leading Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). With cutting-edge facilities and an environment where pioneering research can thrive, this centre will be a beacon of hope for families facing the unimaginable.

And because cancer shouldn’t get to steal anyone’s childhood, it will be more than a hospital building. It will also be a school, a playground, a garden and a home-from-home.

How to stream for GOSH Charity

  • Choose your challenge

    Battle it out in games with your friends, whip up a baking masterpiece, break a record or create something entirely unique. Whatever you decide, make your challenge exciting, make it meaningful, and most of all, make it something your audience will be inspired to get behind and support.

  • Get ready

    Set up your fundraising page on Tiltify. Their simple, guided tools make it easy to create interactive polls, mark exciting milestones and share ways for your audience to get involved as you go. It only takes a few minutes to get started! (You can also use JustGiving or Twitch Charity if you prefer.)

  • Look the part

    Download our Stream for GOSH overlays and other tools so that people know you're fundraising for a great cause.

  • Spread the word
    Share your challenge with your community. Tell everyone what you're doing, when you're doing it and why you're doing it – to help build the Children's Cancer Centre at GOSH. Also, make sure to join us on Discord and share your stream with the team and our community. We'll share hints and tips to make the event as successful as possible.

  • Go!

Guidelines for fundraising for GOSH Charity

Before fundraising for us, please read our guidelines for participating in our gaming, streaming and content creation activity.

Where your money goes

At Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity), we stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children the best chance and the best childhood possible.

For the children from all over the UK who are treated by Great Ormond Street Hospital every day. For children with rare or complex illnesses everywhere. For this generation and all those to come. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to serious illness.

All the funds raised will go towards the development of cancer care at Great Ormond Street Hospital. In the event that costs change, or the needs of the hospital or patients change, we reserve the right to redirect funds for use against the hospital’s most urgent needs.
